Invent a new flower; give it a name and describe it. I love flowers, but I don’t know about inventing a new one.
My favorite color is yellow and all I can think of are sunflowers, daisies, tulips, and buttercups. Hhhmmmmm~what could I do with this: Sunshine: A sunflower with yellow tulips coming from the center: Sunshine! I dunno-lol!

Name someone whom you think has a wonderful voice.

Too many to chose from. I just discovered that our new Music teacher has a wonderful voice. Her class is across the hall from mine and I witnessed her singing last week: wonderful voice!

On a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being highest, how clean do you keep your car? The car I drive (officially my bf’s car) I keep very clean: 9! The car he drives (officially mine-now Patch’s-my 11 year old dalmatian) he keeps not so clean: 2! What is wrong with this picture? LOL!

How do you feel about poetry?
I am not very poetic myself, but I really enjoy reading poetry. I have found myself very interested in bloggers’ posts about poetry.

My Kindergarten class. I am guilty of not taking as many pictures as I should-shame on me! I need to be snapping away pictures of Patch!

Given the choice, would you prefer to live in the country or in the city? Most definitely in the country! I used to live on a “farm”. We had horses, dogs, and cats out in the country! I loved being outside anytime of the day when I was in the country! Sooooo beautiful!

Who is the cutest kid you know? I really can’t answer this question! I am a Kindergarten teacher and all of my kids are cute, as well as all the other children I have had! You can check out my class at Miss Meredith’s Monkeys and view pictures and slideshows there.

If you could star in a commercial for one of your favorite products, which one would you want to advertise? I would advertise Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula with Vitamin E Swivel Stick (or any of their products)! I especially love the swivel stick: I use one for my lips and I use one for marks, blemishes, and rough, dry skin!

What was the last bad movie you watched? Oh my~my brain isn’t working well~can’t think of titles right now. Jedd is usually good at renting the “bad” movies often. LOL! (I couldn’t sleep last night, so I watched a movie and I must say that now Zoolander is the last bad movie I watched! I added this on 3-14-08 at 11:43 p.m. CST)

Name something you are addicted to and describe how it affects your life. Hhhmmmm, I am addicted to blogging. It affects my life in both positive and negative ways. Positive ways: meeting new people, developing some really great friendships, letting off steam, posting memories that I can look back on…Negative ways: My arthritis in my hands acts up much more, I stay up way too late, I procrastinate on other things I should be doing-cleaning, cooking, schoolwork…

Which instrument is your favorite to listen to? I love music in almost any form. I really enjoy listening to the flute. I used to play flute when I was in middle school and my freshman year in high school.

About a five I guess. Sometimes people call me wanting to jabber on more than I do. I listen. If I call someone~I state my reason for calling and continue with the conversation until my mission is accomplished!

Name a charitable organization to which you have donated (or would like to).

At Christmas, my family always sends in a donation to the American Cancer Society~in honor of my 19 year old cousin who is currently battling Renal Cell Carcinoma and has been for the last 5 years. I also pick an “Angel” to purchase for at Christmas for the Salvation Army. I have already donated to Relay for Life (Cancer Society) pledging a co-worker at school. I have also already donated to the Breast Cancer 3 Day Walk for a cure, pledging a blog buddy of mine, Shades of Pink. After Christmas, I took many items to Goodwill. I am constantly supporting charitable organizations. It makes me feel so good to help others. I am about to start up our Service Learning Project for Kindergarten. We will be getting donations for the local Animal Shelters. Woohoo!

What is a food you like so much you could eat it every single day for a month?

Hmmmm~this one is hard. I believe I could eat peanutbutter & jelly sandwiches every day. It’s gotta be grape jelly with BBQ chips on the side. Yummy!

Have you or anyone in your family had the flu this year?

I’m not sure if it was the flu or not, but on my Dad’s side, there was quite a bit of sickness. I believe it was mostly stomach viruses. One of my best friends is recovering from the flu!

I’m trying out a weekly meme each Friday. This is Friday’s Feast. It’s a ‘meal’ of five random questions ‘served’ to help you get to know me better. Enjoy!

Have you ever played a practical joke on anyone?  If so, what did you do and who was your victim?           

I have a child in my class that went through a brief spell of ‘mooning’. He did it once at school, in the restroom, and once at home. His mother also teaches with me. On Parent/Teacher Conference night, Mom had received a call about the incident at home. Some fellow teachers and I were visiting in the workroom having some laughs over the whole situation and we came up with a prank. Miss Librarian went to get books related to Child’s Name and Moon. There were plenty. We scoped out Mom’s location and waited until she left her room. Then we placed these books on her desk. Then we nonchalantly (yeah~right) wiated for her return and reaction. She went to her room and the returned to the hall~where we all were. We all busted out laughing! It was hilarious!

Where is the next place you plan to visit (on vacation or business)?               

I would love to travel somewhere on the East Coast to visit some lighthouses, but I’m sure we won’t on our next vacation. Our next vacation will be to a casino (Jedd), Tunica probably OR to Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge.

What kind of lotion or cream do you use to keep your hands from getting too dry?            

I use Mary Kay Extra Emollient Night Cream and Mary Kay Satin Hands Hand Cream. I also use Mary Kay Satin Hands pampering set a couple a times a week.

                

Dessert 

              

Make up a dessert, tell us its ingredients, and give it a name.            

Make a chocolate cake with chocolate pudding and poke holes in it-lots of them. Pour melted peanut butter all  over to get into the holes. Melt some Reese’s Peanut butter cups and pour all over the top for the icing. This is called Peanut Butter Passion.
