Patch’s Last Moments

I kept saying I was going to video Patch singing and talking and I never did. 😦 I did video him one time-the first and last time. I am not very good at videoing-as you will see. You will also get to hear my lovely Southern accent as I talk and sing to Patch. This movie is 2:22 long.

Dog Tricks

This is really cute (email forward). Tell him to sneeze and see what he does! Love it! I have no idea how they do this: Make sure your volume is turned on and TYPE IN a command and see what happens… sit, roll over, down, stand, sing, dance, shake, fetch, play dead etc. and… it’s also very cute if you type in a command that’s not recognized! Make sure you type in ‘Kiss’ too, but do it last.

Rusty, this looks like you. I bet you can do these tricks too!

Click here: I Do Dog Tricks to play. Come on back and let me know what you think!

I Will Remember You!

God Wants Me To Tell You…

My Mom sent this to me on Saturday

Everything that is going wrong in your life today shall be well with you
this year. You have been destined to make it and you shall surely achieve
all your goals this year. For the remaining months of this year (2008),
all your agonies will be diverted and victory and prosperity will be
incoming in abundance. Today God has confirmed the end of your sufferings,
sorrows, and pains because HE that sits on the throne has remembered you.
He has taken away the hardships and given you JOY. He will never let you down.
I knocked at heaven’s door this morning, God asked me… My child! What
can I do for you? And I said, ‘Father, please protect and bless the person
reading this message’… God smiled and answered… Request granted.

So now I am passing it on to you 🙂

p.s. I go to pick up my baby, Patch today.

We had him cremated with one of his babies and we will be keeping his ashes.

P is for Prayers~Again!

U is for Update

Hey guys and gals! Thanks for helping me reach over 20,000 sniffs~visits! Woohoo! Party time!

I’ve been very busy lately and probably will be through the month of May. The end of the school year is wild and crazy~especially for ME the Procrastinator-lol! It is also ball season and I like to go to the ball fields and watch my students and former students play ball. I also enjoy the socialization. I really enjoy getting out when I make myself do it. Ball season is great for me right now since I have been quite the hermit lately.

M is for Migraine

Hey all!

Sorry I have not been mine blogging self. I was hit hard with a migraine after we returned from Sunday Dinner. It was a doozy. Way to start off my first week back to school-lol. I’m still not feeling too well. I apologize for not commenting back on your comments as fast as I usually do and returning visits! I hope to be back to normal real soon. Thanks for all of your concern/support about my blog. I’m wondering what it looks like to you guys. It looks fine in Internet Explorer but not in Firefox-which I had changed to a few weeks ago and which I thought I liked. Me left sidebar at the top has disappeared-gotta fix that tonight-hopefully. I believe my meme participation may drop too-hehe. Have a great day! Mere

“Day to day life as a middle aged ’empty nester’, avid gardener, and busy teacher of young children”

I met Teresa at Ten and a Half Months when I first started blogging back in September 2007. She is a wonderful woman and a Kindergarten teacher. She loves gardening, teaching, running, and blogging. She blogs about her daughter that is in college, her gardening, and her teaching. She also has a blog about her classroom. Both blogs are great with awesome pictures & slideshows included. I don’t get over there as often as I should-maybe this will help me too-lol. You gotta go check out her site! Don’t forget to tell her I sent you!
