~Chicken~
This is a recipe that I used to make a long time ago. I would just throw it together-not really sure about the official recipe part.
Chicken Cordon Bleu
-
Pound 6 boneless chicken breast halves until 1/4 inch thick.
-
Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
-
Top each piece of chicken with 1 slice of ham and 1 slice of Swiss cheese.
-
Fold chicken over ham and cheese.
-
Wrap each bundle in two strips of bacon and hold together with a toothpick.
-
Place bundles side by side in a shallow baking pan.
-
Bake in a preheated oven at 350 degrees for 40 to 45 minutes or until chicken is cooked and bacon is browned.
-
Serve with rice
(I would always add a can of cream of chicken soup and cut up extra cheese to make a creamy, cheesy sauce)
