~Chicken~

This is a recipe that I used to make a long time ago. I would just throw it together-not really sure about the official recipe part.

Chicken Cordon Bleu

  1. Pound 6 boneless chicken breast halves until 1/4 inch thick.

  2. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.

  3. Top each piece of chicken with 1 slice of ham and 1 slice of Swiss cheese.

  4. Fold chicken over ham and cheese.

  5. Wrap each bundle in two strips of bacon and hold together with a toothpick.

  6. Place bundles side by side in a shallow baking pan.

  7. Bake in a preheated oven at 350 degrees for 40 to 45 minutes or until chicken is cooked and bacon is browned.

  8. Serve with rice

(I would always add a can of cream of chicken soup and cut up extra cheese to make a creamy, cheesy sauce)

Our Sunday Dinner

Jedd’s got Granny fixin’ What for Supper?

  1. BBQ Chicken

  2. BBQ Steak

  3. Rice

  4. Mashed Potatoes

  5. Fresh Fried Corn

  6. Green Beans

  7. Pistaccio Salad

  8. Strawberry Cake (made with strawberry jelly)
